Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Chile

June 19, 2024 Cueball

Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Chile!

Sweet Chile was found in the country pretty banged up. A kind person took her in and made sure she was brought to the shelter for help once we had room. She had a major ear infection, so you might notice a head tilt. She also had injuries most likely from being hit by a car. She is much better now and ready for a furever home. Even though she’s already been through a lot in her short life, she has the sweetest personality! We believe she is around 7-8 months old. Stop in soon and she will be sure to give you lots of kisses!

Stop in this week to meet this special pet. The shelter is open Wednesday through Friday, 3 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before entering to speed up the adoption process. WHS officials go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off cats during their week!
