Absolutely spectacular! Alisha at the front desk is amazing! Such an asset to this hotel..The theme of the hotel coincided with the mining town history beautifully......a lot of thought went into this hotel. Rooms were emaculent and actually had all areas finished as far as paint, trim etc. No short cuts. A microwave was the only thing missing. Very clean!!! Will definitely be returning!

Went for a Christmas holiday party for work. We had about 20 plus people. The staff did a great job in the restaurant! The food was fabulous. Bartender in the restaurant was courteous friendly and funny! Got the steak mashed potatoes and asparagus and it was beautifully done. Only issue was bartender and the casino. Our group walked in and she refused to serve us even though we were guests at the hotel. It turned into kind of a mess! In the end the hotel did get it fixed, but put a little bit of a damper on the night. The rooms were gorgeous and very clean. We all enjoyed the stay very much. The only reason it doesn't have five Stars was the incident with the bartenders.

I love the location of the Wildwood Hotel and Casino. I travelled with a married couple so there were three of us. I reserved a standard double room with two double beds and we were very disappointed in the size of the room. Also we did not care for the location of the sink which is not in the bathroom, for privacy. It's located right when you enter the hotel room. The standard double is very small and cramped. There isn't even a chair to sit on. So we had to sit on the beds. There was a small hassock however, which none of us could utilize for sitting. The room does not have a microwave, which was inconvenient and there was a very small dorm room size refrigerator which couldn't hold much. We stayed in a one bed room last year with a pull-out sofa and it was much more comfortable than the standard two bed room. The front desk staff was friendly as was the housekeeping staff. The cost for the two night stay was more than fair.

The staff at Wildwood are very friendly to customers and to each other. They offered us an extra night because we checked in extremely late and they were very professional. The hotel is not really setup for traveling professionals but if you are coming to Cripple Creek for leisure this hotel is great and very reasonably priced.

I’ve delivered casino chairs to a lot of casinos over the past 12 years and these folks by far were the best. Everyone that could come out and help unload did. Office staff, upper management, security. They were also very polite to the customers as they passed by as we were unloading at one of the entrances.

We ate at the new Salt grass Restaurant. Really good food, fresh and delicious. Servers were very attentive and we love the new interior finishes and decor. We are local and don't gamble, so we joined the Landry's club so we can get dining points. A great addition to Cripple Creek!

I moved to CO from NJ for a 7 month span. In that time I played craps here 2-3 times a week and the staff is unbeatable. Mike, Brent, Anthony, Noelle, and Rick have been the most friendly dealers I’ve ever played with. They always keep the game interesting and its sad to have to let such a great place go. Have a good one guys ! - Will

While we casino so far is the best one in town that we've been to. It's Las Vegas style however it doesn't have quite the ambience or service that the other older casinos have which have been in Cripple Creek for a. Long long time period we didn't like the casino but didn't win very much here. The food is good and the service is OK but it could be better. The hotel rooms A nice enough and the hotel staff was Helpful and friendly but the beds are small. So? If you think you're getting a Queen think again it's More like a full size bed not a real Queen size. If you think you're getting a king size it's more like a Standard Queen. The prices are pretty high for. For what you're getting in a bedsized.I wish the management would have thought that through they need real beds there, Maybe they think? People are just going to drink and gamble so they don't care what size the beds are? Food was decent but they didn't have room service so be prepared to walk across the street to the casino to get your food period of course they want. You to go over there so that you'll gamble and spend money.

The slots were really tight. I wasn't hearing anyone win😒 no more coffee or beverage station for the gamblers. I ordered one drink, and it never arrived. I'd rate 2 on the fun meter. The drive was spectacular!

Absolutely terrible! For a steak house you would think they would know how to make a steak medium well. I wish I took a photo of the first two that came out. They were rare. Both of them! Not even close to Medium well. This is a photo of the third one sent out. I assumed that the 4th would do the trick but it was hard to tell as it was about ten minutes after placing it in a Togo bag. . My guess is that it wasn’t properly prepared either but the closest of the other 3. I was starving and was going to eat it but….Well I couldn’t eat it in the car without silverware so it wound up in the trash shortly afterwards. Very disappointing. I will never return to this so called steakhouse

The new restaurant at the Golden Nugget is completely remodeled and beautiful. The service was excellent, the rib eye cooked to perfection. The fried shrimp was amazing and the drinks were tasty and strong. I took a picture of my Texas tea.

Joe's restaurant had a good menu and everything we had was delicious. Pretzel appetizer was hot and soft, sesame chicken dish was flavorful and fresh, wedge salad and white chicken chili were both amazing. We'll definitely be back.

Casino was fun, the customer service staff was excellent. Dealers were hit and miss. Some were really fun. There was one guy who just was EXTREMELY slow at dealing and a bit odd but overall a good experience. The Hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Casino is clean and the dealers are engaging and friendly. Rooms are modern amd are exceptionally clean. My opportunity that I'm giving the casio is simple....return the soda and coffee access back to your customers....your wait staff are rude if you ask for a soda/coffee. All the other casinos allow free access to the beverages yet this high end casino in Cripple Creek lacks a simple option.

It’s Worth the Experience By Day But Not By Night… You’ll Be Counting Your Pennies & Trying to Catch Sheep Then Getting Some Sleep. The Old Rooms Are More Comfy Then the Fancy New Hotel But Both Are Too Noisy to Stay At. We Changed Our Room for the Newer One But It Was Just As Bad. Beds Are Hard, Smart TV’s Don’t Work, Shower is Mediocre, Drains Are Clogged & You Can Hear Your Next Door Neighbors Through the Paper Thin Walls. I Know It’s Cheap to Stay Here But It Ain’t Worth It. Casino is Lucky By Day But By Night Your Lucky Your Alive Cause You Can’t Win Nothing; Might As Well Drop Your Cash Off at the Front Door. Bartenders Don’t Know How to Make Drinks & Restaurant Was Better Then All of It. Got Told By Several People Leave Before Playing… It’s Not Worth the Entertainment or The Chance on Winning. Leave While You Still Can. I Should Of. Plus, Why Get a Players Club Card as a New Member… No Perks at All. Waste of Time! First & Last Time Coming. Thanks for Experience.

The first review I'm going to do is of Woody's bar and grill located inside Wildwood casino. We were served with a smile and quick as a wink our drinks were brought. We ordered several appetizers and meals and we're stuffed beyond our dreams. This sports bar was located at one end of the casino. The prices were right and we would return in the future.

Our room was just awful. 2 super tiny double beds , too short, that me and my kiddo's feet hung off the end. the bathtub would not plug in the water was either super scalding hot or freezing. The lady at the desk was super kind and amazing. Welcoming . But I would not pay. That much for an uncomfortable room again.

If I could leave more stars I would!!I got married near Cripple Creek in August 2023 and this hotel did room blocks for my guests. They went ABOVE and BEYOND to make my wedding week amazing and less stressful. We also had our family rehearsal dinner here. So appreciate and happy! Amazing staff, clean rooms, and fantastic location!

beautiful building, didn't go in but they aren't kidding when they say it's the highest casino in the u.s. it is in cripple Creek and the drive up is amazing and the views are great.

Check-in line was long when we arrived but guest services quickly came with more help. Restaurant staffing had its issues but workers were extremely friendly. Slot machine selection was good but payouts are mediocre.

Definitely thought we were going to be closer to the casino. We were in the other hotel up on the hill, but still decent room and such. Casino was fun and best part was the food at Saltgrass for my moms birthday. Service sucked as they had staffing issues, but the food was on point

Worse place to stay I got woke up at 130 hearing the people above us to EVERYTHING ! When I stay at a hotel I don’t expect there to be zero noise but I don’t want to hear EVERYTHING! I am disgusted honestly
