The The Towers of Time are a new way to test your skills and ascend against NPC characters, while gaining loot and Kosmetics for your characters. Below you'll find a full guide on how the Towers of Time operate.

The Towers of Time are an ever-changing rotation of towers with modifiers to the fights within them. Upon entering into the mode initially you'll receive a Tutorial which we'll detail out in the next section. However, upon defeating the Tutorial Towers, you'll be presented with several tower options to participate in with different sets of rules and modifiers.

Before we get to all that, let's focus on how the basics work. You'll be able to choose any character you wish to take on whatever tower lies ahead of you. Some Towers of Time are a platform of several consequetive towers where one must be defeated in order to take on the next, while others are singular Boss Battles. Sometimes a Boss Battle will cap off the end of a Platform of Towers as well. It all just depends on what Tower you're up against.

Konsumables

Before entering into a fight, you'll be asked whether you want to use a Konsumable, these are consumable (oh the puns....) items that you can use to counteract negative modifiers in the match, or summon an ally to help you win.

Each Consumable comes with a slot requirement of 1-3 and you have a total of 3 slots per fight. So for instance, you can equip three 1-slot consumables or one 3-slot consumable.

They each do something different, and we've started a running list detailing out what each one does and the slot requirements for them here.

Modifiers

So what do these Konsumables counteract? Well, often times you'll find the odds of whatever fight you're in tilted in your opponent's favor with modifiers on the match. These can take several forms.

Each modifier is associated with an Element Type:

• Blood Element - Blood based modifiers will drain your Health and give it to the opponent.
• Poison Element - Poison based modifiers will drain your offensive and Defensive meters and give it to your opponent
• Energy Element - Energy based modifiers will do additional damage
• Fire Element - Fire based modifiers will deal damage over time.

These elements can take forms within modifiers that do specific things. For instance, Tekunin Vampiric Missiles are targeting missiles of the Blood Element that fly at kombatants during the fight. Should you be hit, your health will be stolen from you and given to the enemy. However, you can counteract this with the Konsumable Skarlet's Pure Blood Vial, which makes you immune to all Blood based modifiers.

As mentioned earlier, when going into a fight, the Konsumable that would be most helpful will be recommended to you. You can use Resists or Shields to lessen the damage from Elemental Modifiers or you can use multiple Konsumables in a single battle to create powerful combinations of abilities to take down tough opponents.

So why do all this (other than for the glory of the fight)? The answer lies in all the sweet sweet loot. There are three different kind of rewards you can gain from completing a Tower of Time or Tower of Time Platform which we'll detail out below: Kompletion Rewards, Performance Rewards, and Objective Rewards.

Kompletion Rewards

Say you enter a Tower of Time that includes 5 towers you need to complete to finish the gauntlet. You'll see in the bottom right hand side of your screen several things listed under "Kompletion Rewards." You'll notice these change based on which Tower on the Platform you scroll to, which means precisely what you think. These are the rewards gained by completing that specific part Tower on the Tower Platform. These range from Koin Currency and Konsumables to Augments and Skins.

Performance Rewards

Above the Kompletion Rewards, you should see a section for Performance Rewards. During your matches, you'll be awarded point values based on your kombo length and damage dealt. These are tallied and added into a Performance Review at the end of finishing a tower. The lowest threshold of points will award an extra bundle of Koins, while tier two will award extra Soul Fragments, and Tier 3 will award extra Hearts.

The amount of points you'll need in a tower to achieve the extra items will vary from tower to tower, but should you perform well, this is a great way to rack up currency for the Krypt.

Objective Rewards

Objective Rewards can be found listed in the top left when previewing a Tower. This is a more overall objective. You'll see above it a checklist detailing the Tower Platform Objectives. Once you have met these (usually one in order) you'll be rewarded with the Objective Rewards. Simple as that.
